Who are the Explorers and what is the Aviation Post 310? The Lehigh Valley Aviation Explorer Post 310 is based at the Braden Airpark (N43) in Easton PA. Volunteer pilots from EAA Chapter 70 and the Lehigh Valley Flying Club offer Aviation as a Learning for Life education program. Exploring is part of the Learning for Life career education program for young men and women who are 14 (and have completed the eighth grade) through 20 years old. It is the mission of Learning for Life to enable young people to become responsible individuals by teaching positive character traits, career development, leadership, and life skills so they can make ethical choices and achieve their full potential. The Aviation Exploring program provides aviation related experiences to help young people mature and to prepare them to become responsible and caring adults. Our program is based on a unique and dynamic relationship between youth and the organizations in their communities. Local community organizations, like the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 70 and the Lehigh Valley Flying Club, initiate an Explorer post by matching their people and program resources to the interests of young people in the community. The result is a program of activities that helps youth pursue their special interests, grow, and develop. Latest Post News!
